LOUISVILLE, KY – March 30, 2020 – The Louisville Mega Cavern is bringing almost a mile worth of dinotastic fun with dozens of life-size moving dinosaurs! The Dino Safari drive-thru experience will take visitors on a 30-40 minute expedition through Louisville Mega Cavern’s underground passageways. The drive-thru dino adventure is fun for the entire family and will welcome visitors, Friday, April 9 through Sunday, May 2, 2021.

Louisville Mega Cavern and Imagine Exhibitions will take families on an adventure to learn how prehistoric dinosaurs evolved over time, where they lived, and other discoveries of paleontologists! Travel back in time to experience earthquakes and dinosaur battles while staying safely in the car for COVID times. As guests drive through Dino Safari, they will have an up-close-and-personal adventure, encountering dinosaurs like the Diplodocus and the terrifying T. rex. Visitors may just help save the life of a dinosaur along the way!

Dino Safari is the perfect COVID-safe experience for families to enjoy from the safety of their own vehicle, no matter what kind of weather Kentucky springs on us. Guests may pre-order tickets that will be scanned through their car window upon entrance to create a contactless experience.

Dino Safari was created alongside paleontologist Dr. Gregory Erickson. The experience will take visitors on an educational expedition to prehistoric times. Visitors will be guided through the fictional “Pangea National Park” with an audio tour (available in both English and Spanish). Guests will download a free app to access to
access the audio guide while in the caves (details coming soon!). Each vehicle is given a “Survival Pack” which will contain your passport to Pangea with a scavenger hunt and other fun surprises along the way!

Paramus is a relatively new city incorporated in 1922. It is an ancient area of activity and roots going back to early indigenous tribes. Because corn and wild turkeys flourished, these people named Paramus to literally mean “where there is fertile land.”

At different times during the American Revolutionary War troops under the leadership of George Washington and Aaron Burr were active in the area.

In the early 1700’s Dunkerhook became a free African-American settlement. Centuries later, around the 1950 the area became known as “the Crossroads of Bergen County.” Truck farming was booming, and 3 major shopping malls opened.

At One Municipal Plaza, Freehold, New Jersey, 07728 where Town Hall currently stands, some 66 million years ago Triceratops, Parasaurolophus, Micro raptor, T. Rex, Brontosaurus, and Pterodactyl use to feed on smaller prey and giant trees.

First sighted by the early European explorer, John Cabot, as early as 1468, the Freehold area was not permanently settled until much later. The Township was formerly founded on October 31^st, 1693. I wonder if they had Halloween back then? The place earned a spot in American history during the American Revolutionary War. It was a hotbed full of Patriots who opposed the British royal crown. Besides fielding one of the first companies of troops to battle for independence, Freehold earned a place in history when the Battle of Monmouth broke out on June 28^th, 1778. George Washington and the Continental Army pursued and attacked the British who were attempting a controlled withdrawal to board ships and head up to New York. The two armies exchanged fire over a series of engagements until Washington’s troops established a superior artillery position. The Brits thought it wiser to disengage and continued on ahead to their boats. The outcome of the battle was inconclusive, but it added a much-needed moral victory and another memorable name to the list of numerous battlefields in New Jersey.

Since then, the region has prospered. Being close to the Jersey shore and to New York City the area is a nice blend of bedroom community, shopping district, and vacation destination.

The Children’s Museum of Cleveland is currently by “reservation only” and you are going to receive a 2-hour timed ticket. Makes things a little more pressurized than normal. Put wheels under your feet and drive over to Dino Safari for a truly new and unique experience!

Great Wolf Lodge Water Park is jam packed during the heat of summer. You can splash in pools and on rides, run through Magiquest, stay in theme suites, and dine at multiple choices, but it’s always going to be there — unlike the dinosaurs!

Dino Safari: A Walk-Thru Adventure Opens in Atlanta Nov. 19

Immersive dinosaur experience entertains and transports families back to prehistoric ages

ATLANTA (Nov. 2, 2021) – Imagine Exhibitions brings a dinosaur-filled indoor experience to the Atlanta metro area for local families and visitors to get up-close and personal with larger-than-life replicas of the most fascinating, fan-favorite prehistoric inhabitants! Dino Safari: A Walk-Thru Adventure opens Nov.19, 2021, in Alpharetta’s North Point Mall.

Tickets go on sale on Nov. 2 and can be purchased at DinoSafari.com. The limited-engagement, experiential family walk-through attraction will run through April 8, 2022.

In this walk-through adventure, attendees will meet and interact with more than 30 life-sized dinosaurs, including the T.rex of North America and the Spinosaurus from Africa. With the help of scientifically accurate installations and realistic moving animatronics, Dino Safari will transport guests back millions of years to get up close and personal with prehistoric creatures in a replica of their natural habitat.

Located in the upper level of North Point Mall, the experience showcases how dinosaurs evolved over time and offer hands-on challenges for visitors to solve, along with depictions of natural elements that often occurred during this time, such as earthquakes. The thrilling adventure features captivating VR technology, spectacular installations, and an interactive space for children. The exhibition was created by Atlanta-based Imagine Exhibitions in collaboration with world-renowned Ph.D. Dinosaur Paleontologist Gregory M. Erickson, who is one of only 150 full-time professional dinosaur paleontologists in the world.
